When we talk to a person, we get only 30% of all information through their words; everything else can be revealed in your movements, tone of voice, and other non-verbal means of communication.
So if you want to know what your friends really feel at any time, it is better to look at their faces – try to be more attentive and you will learn a lot of new things about them.
We have put together a little guide on how to “read” people’s faces.
How To Read Person Body Language
1. Eyebrow Face Reading
Raised and curves eyebrows may mean a person is surprised. And the more surprised, the more the eyebrows rise. Raising eyebrows is also a sign of openness and attraction to you.
The low and close eyebrows usually symbolize anger. As a general rule, you will also see vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows.
The inner corners of the eyebrows, together and upwards, indicate sadness.
2. How To Read Eyes For Predicting Emotion Or Feelings
Looking up and to the right can indicate that a person is trying to use their imagination or that they’re lying.
Looking up and to the left means that a person is remembering or recalling something.
Looking down may indicate that a person is embarrassed, nervous, or has low self-esteem. Sometimes it is a sign of feeling guilty.
If a person’s eyes move quickly from side to side, it means they feel nervous or uncomfortable around them.
Dilated pupils generally indicate fear or that a person is interested or in love with you.
On the contrary, if a person’s pupils are very small, almost like beads, it can mean they are angry.
If you see crow’s feet in the outer corners of someone’s eyes, it means they are really laughing, as these lines symbolize joy.
3. How To Read People’s Lips
Pursed lips can indicate negative emotions, such as anger, contempt, frustration, or disapproval.
If someone is biting his lip, he is trying to soothe because he feels anxious.
If one side of the mouth is raised, it may reveal contempt or hatred.
The corners of the lips down signify sadness.
4. Body Language of the Hands
Touching the neck can mean that a person is trying to protect themselves when he feels discomfort.
Touching the nose is a sign that a person is lying.
