To make this magic drink, simply cut or grate a little fresh ginger root (about 5 cm), boil it in 1 liter of water for 10 to 15 minutes, and then strain the liquid. You will get the best results if you drink this tea before each meal.

    But weight loss is not the only benefit of this tea! If you have a cold or allergy, this tea offers instant relief.

    If you’re not a tea fanatic, try adding grated ginger to the dishes you cook. Add it to salad dressings, soups, rice, or casseroles, and you’ll soon see incredible changes in your body!

    1. It Improves The Skin

    It’s so easy to make your own face and body scrubs at home and the naturally rough texture of ginger is a great way to get rid of dead skin cells. Try it mixed with thick and gloopy honey and enjoy the zingtastic scent, as it energizes your whole body.

    Keep in mind that ginger is one of nature’s anti-inflammatory drugs, which helps ease and calm sore or slightly unhappy skin. It also promotes blood circulation.

    Eczema sufferers take note: Adding a few drops of ginger essential oil to a carrier (such as olive oil) is particularly soothing.

    You can also let gingerol, ginger’s super powerful antioxidant, fight the good fight against age spots, scars, and blemishes. Try mixing a small amount of freshly grated ginger with a little crushed ice and apply once a week.

    2. Relieving Pain

    The next time you strain a muscle or sleep in an awkward position, add a little ginger oil to your bath. You can even apply a slightly warmed mixture of ginger paste directly to the affected area for sweeter muscle relief.

    Even better, eating a teaspoon of powdered ginger early in your period has also been shown to reduce menstrual pain.
