Forehead wrinkles can start to appear due to age, repeated expressions, genetics, and exposure to sunlight. Although you cannot completely get rid of forehead wrinkles, some natural remedies can help make them less visible.
The key is to focus on products and techniques that can help retain moisture and skin elasticity.
When we research different remedies, we care to focus on those that you can use on a daily basis and that you don’t need to search the world to find them.
Banana
Bananas are great for skincare, especially for the forehead. Contains vitamins and natural oils that give your skin a healthy boost.
The best part is that it is very easy to do and apply. All you have to do is mash 1/4 of a banana into a smooth paste.
Next, put a thin layer on your forehead and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. After that, simply rinse with warm water and you will feel your forehead become softer and more hydrated.
Citrus Fruits
Citrus fruits are rich in vitamins E and C, which can provide additional softness to the skin and also improve the overall health of the skin.
Although you can directly apply the citrus fruits of your choice (lemon, orange, grapefruit, etc.) to your forehead and let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing, there is a simple mask that will probably give you the best results.
In a bowl, add 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice and add flour, just enough to make a creamy paste. Apply it to your forehead and let it sit for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
Natural Oils
Both coconut oil and olive oil can improve the elasticity of the skin by hydrating it. Dry skin is not elastic enough, which makes wrinkles more visible.
When you focus on hydrating your forehead, your skin can become more elastic. Apply olive oil or coconut oil before bed, right after washing your face.
Apply the oil directly to the wrinkles on the forehead and massage until the skin is no longer greasy. You can mix the two oils if you like.
Egg White
Egg whites can help improve the appearance of the skin on the forehead. However, instead of just applying egg white, you can mix it with honey.
This mask will not only help reduce forehead wrinkles but will also help tone your skin.
In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 1 egg white. Apply to the forehead (or even the entire face and neck). Let sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
Forehead Exercises
Training the forehead muscles will reduce wrinkles and also correct droopy eyelids. Here’s how to do it:
Place your hands in a “C” shape over your eyes, as if you want to keep them open. Keep the index finger on the eyebrow and the thumbs on each side near the nose, above the nostrils.
Press each hand sideways and downward, open the chest and rotate the shoulder blades.
Open your eyes wide and hold the position for 5 seconds. Press your index finger to prevent the eyebrows from moving.
Squeeze your eyes 5 times and close them. Relax for 5 seconds and repeat 2 more times.
