Toxins are present everywhere around us, be it in the air we breathe, the water we drink, or the food we eat. Even your favorite smartphone is a dirty farm, full of enough bacteria to make you seriously ill. Daily toxins build up in our bodies, and if it reaches a tipping point, you could be seriously ill.
To help you realize that it might be time to detoxify, Creative Side compiled a list of symptoms that indicate a toxin overload in your body. To learn how to detoxify, read the section at the end.
Signs Of A Toxic Body
1. You Suffer From Constipation
When we eat food, we are also inadvertently consuming many chemicals that come with it, such as preservatives, dyes, and artificial flavors. The intestines in charge of digestion must also face the collapse of these toxins. This accumulation of toxins can cause stomach upset and constipation.
Eating organic food, limiting alcohol consumption, and drinking plenty of water should help solve the problem.
2. You Have Brain Fog
If you feel dizzy, confused, and unable to focus even in the morning after a good night’s sleep, harmful toxins may be playing with you.
These toxins cause a series of reactions that dry out the essential vitamins and minerals that the body needs to function. It is similar to what happens when you put bad oil in your car.
3. Deodorants Don’t Help And You Still Feel Stinky
You took your morning shower, applied deodorant, and on the subway, people wrinkle their noses when you approach. You guessed it: toxins could make you stink!
These toxins, when digested, produce gases and odors that, escaping through the pores of the body, can emit an odor that can compete with the most fetid fart you’ve ever experienced.
4. Aching Joints And Muscles Are Running You Down
If you haven’t pushed yourself at the gym or did physically strenuous work, but still have muscle and joint pain, it could be the reason for toxin buildup.
Body aches and pains are indicators that you may have uncontrolled inflammation in your body; therefore, if you have no other reason for the inflammation, try detoxifying.
5. New Spots Appear On Your Skin
The skin is the largest organ in the body and is often exposed to pollution. Also, products like shampoos, conditioners, soaps, and lotions that we use may contain harmful chemicals. Exposure to so many toxic chemicals can cause symptoms like acne, rashes, and eczema.
6. Falling Asleep Is Getting Harder
On the one hand, toxin buildup makes you feel exhausted, and, on the other hand, making things worse can ruin your sleep.
High amounts of toxins in the body can cause the level of the hormone cortisol, which controls sleep, to go awry, and negatively affect sleep.
Insomnia can lead to serious health problems; therefore, if you find that falling asleep is becoming more difficult, consider doing a detox.
7. Your Breath Smells Bad Even To You
Bad breath is usually a symptom of digestive problems. This occurs when your digestive system needs to strain to digest everything you eat.
But digestive problems can also occur when the liver struggles to flush out all the accumulated toxins. Getting rid of toxins is the only way to deal with this problem.
8. You Are Losing Your Hair Faster
Hair loss is not a symptom of toxic overload caused by daily toxins. It can be the work of more sinister toxins, such as arsenic, lead, and thallium (found in cigarette smoke), among others, that can even be lethal. So don’t take hair loss lightly and consult your doctor.
